Our 31st Annual Reunion was held at the Thousand Hills Resort Hotel (formerly the Raddison-Branson, where we held our 2012 Reunion) is located just off State Route 76, 3 miles west of downtown Branson, Missouri. Group room rates were $119.95/night for 2-double beds, double occupancy ($135.96 including 13.5% tax). Rate included a hot breakfast buffet. There was no resort fee for Wi-Fi, etc.
Wednesday, 27 September: Executive Committee arrived
Thursday, 28 September: Executive Committee set up displays and registration tables.
1700-1900 Welcome Reception, with cash bar: $36 per person. 34 awardees and guests were paid for by MCEA. An additional 34 paid for a total of 68 attending the reception.
Friday, 29 September: 0800-1200 Business Meeting .No charge; approximately 25 attended. Briefings were provided by the Engineer Section, HQMC and the CO of MCES. MGen Wehr, USA (Ret) and new Executive Director for SAME attended and also provided remarks.
1800-2400 Awards Banquet ($80 per person “early bird” by Saturday, 27 August; $90 after that); 35 awardees and guests were paid for by Society of American Military Engineers. MCEA paid for 9 guests and 47 others paid for a total of 92 in attendance. MGen Wehr presented the SAME Outstanding USMC Senior Engineer Officer and Staff NCO of the year awards. Guest of Honor, BGen Machut USMC (Ret) provided his remarks and then presented the awards to the individual award recipients, along with the award sponsors and presenters who were present. 18 of the 28 award recipients were in attendance; 9 others were represented.

Saturday, 30 September. Group rates were arranged for two events and transportation was on-own/ride share.
0900-1100 Veterans’ Memorial Museum. 23 attended at the group rate of $15 per person. Individuals not going on the Branson Belle “Dinner” Cruise could stay as long as desired.
