A MESSAGE FROM YOUR MARINE CORPS ENGINEER ASSOCIATION

Our recent Reunion and Awards Banquet is in the archives and it was a great event. Even considering the handicap of the coronavirus, we had 85 people attend to support the awardees in the various categories.
Because of the reluctance of some to travel, we decided to also live stream the event. Those that requested access were given access to the website and could view the entire event. We do have to apologize for the silence at the beginning and end of the event. This was our first effort to live stream and we totally forgot to leave a microphone active during the entrance ceremony. A good time was had by all and the trolley tour Saturday was well received.
In addition to live streaming, we also videotaped the event. The video is now available on our website. If you go to the MCEA website (marcorengasn.org) and click on the tab “Gallery”, you will see the video file.
For those who could not attend, I would suggest you take a look; the video shows the quality of our current Marine Corps engineer community.
I hope all are doing well and look forward to seeing you next year on the West Coast.
