The 2010 Gathering will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Old Town Alexandria, VA, 901 N. Fairfax St; Ph #: 703-683-6000; Central Reservation #: 800-227-6963
Our hotel contract is for 20-25 Oct, 2010 at $104 per night, plus tax & fees. The same discounted room rates are available 2 days before and 2 days after the reunion. Attendees will receive a 10% discount in the restaurant and bar and free parking. Additionally, we'll have our complimentary continental breakfast served to us in our hospitality suite each morning.
The welcoming reception will be at the hotel on 20 October and the Awards Banquet at the National Museum of the Marine Corps on Friday night, 22 October. The complete schedule is located at the below link.
THIS REUNION INCLUDES MANY ONE OF A KIND EVENTS! COSTS ARE HIGHER, BECAUSE OF THE PRICES IN THE CAPITAL REGION AND THE MULTIPLE EVENTS AND LOCATIONS.
MCEA IS ABSORBING SUBSTANTIAL COSTS THAT PREVIOUSLY WOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN WHAT THE ATTENDEES PAY.
RESERVATIONS NEED TO BE MADE AND PAID EARLY-WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE CANCELLATION INSURANCE SINCE WE ARE USING A REUNION PLANNING COMPANY TO CONTRACT FOR TRANSPORTATION, COLLECT THE FEES AND HANDLE REGISTRATION.
